Meet our Church Team
These are the people who make Nu Season Nu Day such a wonderful and fulfilling place to worship.
Sister Lynette Burgess
My name is Sister Lynette Burgess and I’m a member of Nu Season Nu Day Church. I joined the church on its launch date September 5, 2015. Since becoming a member of the church my life has been transformed and the person that I have become is more passionate and dedicated to serving the Lord. I serve as Secretary for the Board of Directors and the church administrator. With each worship service and bible study class I feel more deserving and thankful to be a child of God. I enjoy every aspect of our church’s ministries and growth and although we are a small church we have big dreams. We are always involved in community outreach and development of our youth. Our Pastor, Rev. Tamara E. Wilson is a true servant of the Lord and she leads and guides us to our God given potential at all times. She has been a massive blessing to me and I’m thankful to God for her each day. I enjoy having my family and friends join us for various worship services and they always leave feeling spiritually blessed and uplifted by the word Pastor Wilson delivers. Nu Season Nu Day Church is the cornerstone of my growth, development and love of the Lord moving forward in this life, so that I can be with the Lord through eternity. What a feeling to be blessed and too know that I deserve the ultimate Love. The Love of my Lord and Savior.
Among my most favorite scripture is: Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 9:23, 24. I have very often been moved to satisfaction by the doctrinal preaching of the word as it comes out of the mouth of the pastor of Nu Season Nu Day Church and Ministries, Rev. Tamara Wilson; who while preaching declares with more consistent courage the truths of God in such relevant details, one may know that she has spoken the whole heart of God on the matter without omission of what the Lord has revealed to her or fear that the membership might take godliness at that level to be too demanding of us.
Ernest Wilson Jr.
I’m pleased to say that I’ve been involved with Nu Season Nu Day Church & Ministries shortly after hearing of its inception. I currently serve as Treasure, Deacon in Training and work w/the Young Peoples Ministry. I enjoy worshipping w/the members of NSND because of the Spirit that is in each of them. There is an energy and a passion for Worship and one another that you feel as soon as you walk through the doors of the Sanctuary. I Love the passion for preaching and teaching that the Pastor delivers each Sunday and at weekly Bible Study. She has an anointing and is described as a tiny dynamo, a quiet Volcano-is dormant and then explodes. Our organist adds to the Worship Service/experience with his love for the Lord that he shows by his enthused play.
